About

agasthya.dev is where I write about backend systems, cloud architecture, and engineering decisions in B2B SaaS — the unglamorous middle layer where most production incidents and most real wins happen.

About me

I'm a senior engineer based in Bangalore, currently working on AI / ML systems at an early-stage B2B SaaS company. Before that, I've spent years on backend, cloud infrastructure, and the kinds of system design problems that don't make it into conference talks but quietly determine whether a startup scales or buckles.

I write here partly to think more carefully about what I do day-to-day, and partly because the patterns I keep seeing across companies seem worth noting down.

Working with me

I take on a small number of consulting engagements alongside my full-time work, focused on:

  • Backend architecture reviews for early-stage SaaS
  • Cloud cost optimization (AWS / GCP)
  • API design, data pipelines, and database scaling
  • Migration planning (monolith → services, on-prem → cloud)

If you're building something in this space and want a senior pair of eyes for a few hours or weeks, drop me a line: hello@agasthya.dev.
